For this keyboard design, I initially explored bright colours to evoke different moods, but they didn’t capture the essence of Chinese New Year. Therefore, I decided to use traditional Chinese New Year colours to better reflect the theme.
For the icons, I simplified them based on sir’s feedback, taking inspiration from Pinterest and The Noun Project to ensure clarity and consistency. Additionally, I included a Chinese building element to enhance the cultural feel, drawing references from Mulan’s movie visuals and related Pinterest imagery to achieve an authentic and recognisable design.
